Activities

Cape Town offers a great variety of activities, and it is very difficult to list them all, but we can suggest a couple which are worthwhile doing whilst in the Cape.

The Table mountain Cable car, experience seeing Cape Town and its suburbs from a bird's eye view. Robben Island, which is accessible by ferry, forms a great part of South Africa's history as the prison in which Nelson Mandela was held for 27 years is situated there, viewings of his cell form part of the tour.

The famous Red City Sightseeing Hop on Hop off bus - you can choose your starting point, one of which is right down the road from Villa Rhulani. This bus allows you to see the Waterfront, visit the Aquarium, when on Constantia Nek you can switch to the Wine route bus, and hop back onto the Peninsula tour bus which will bring you back to Hout Bay, via the World of Birds and the Imizamo Yethu (IY) Township.

The Whale watching season is from June to December, best guaranteed views are in Hermanus by organised boat tours.

Whether you are a golfer, a water sportsman, a hiker or an art lover, Cape Town has something to offer for everyone.
